I had my appointment with my eye doctor today to have my eyes rechecked for the swelling that was noticed at my last neuro appt. Going in was extremely nervous. To be honest, I don’t know how I feel about how the appt went. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So, I do in fact have swelling on my optic nerves. It’s not too bad at the moment but that isn’t to say that it won’t get worse. He would like me to have another spinal tap to see what my pressures are looking like and go from there.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Unfortunately, no surgery is a fix for Pseudotumor Cerebri/Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension and the stents I had placed back in 2017 may just not be doing enough anymore.

So, I’m not sure what the future holds. I have to believe that it’s in God’s hands and he has some kind of plan for this mess that I’m going through, even if I can’t see it.
